Design and Construction
The overall design of the Samsung M8800 is very appealing and attractive. The number of keys and controls on the handset is quite impressive for a touch screen phone. The call and end buttons are on the either side of the round back button. On the other end of the cell phone’s face there is a video camera, earpiece and an ambient light sensor. The round black button is used as a Back key throughout the interface. The left side of the mobile phone hosts the microSD card slot, hold key and shortcut menu key. The bottom of Samsung M8800 is very plain which features lanyard eyelet and the mouthpiece only. The right side resides dedicated camera key, gallery key and a volume rocker and zoom control. As far as the size is concerned, it is quite responsive and nicely tactile.
