HTC Touch II

HTC Touch2 and Nokia N900, both of the phones do have many great features which are quite popular among the mass that is the reason for me to write about these two in order to point out their differences.

Nokia N900

• First let’s talk about the processor, the HTC Touch2 comprises a Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.5 Professional and Qualcomm MSM7225 528 MHz processor that is not bad at all, but the Nokia N900 does have Maemo 5 OS and ARM Cortex A8 600 MHz, PowerVR SGX graphics.
• The screen of the Nokia N900 is really promising that is of 3.5 inches TFT type touchscreen with 800 x 480 pixels resolution and many other glorious features like; Proximity sensor for auto turn-off, Accelerometer sensor for auto-rotate and Full QWERTY keyboard. The HTC touch2 has 2.8 inches TFT touchscreen and the resolution of 240 x 320 pixels plus the TouchFLO finger swipe navigation and Touch-sensitive zoom bar are also merged.
• Dimensions & weighs, the HTC Touch2’s size is 104 x 55 x 12.9 mm whereas the Nokia N900 measures 110.9 x 59.8 x 18 mm, 113 cc. The weight of these phones is not much different as the HTC’s product weighing in at 110 grams and Nokia’s product is of 181 grams.
• The camera on the Nokia N900 is a 5 mega pixels one, against a 3.15 mega pixels camera of the HTC Touch2.
• Moreover, the other similarities of these two popular contenders are their Speakerphone and 3.5 mm audio jack. Besides, by using these two phones the users can gain document viewer feature so that they can easily open their useful documents.
• A built-in GPS navigation feature is presented in both of the devices but the Nokia N900 owns some extra features like A GPS receiver, Ovi Maps and Digital Compass while the weather, multi touch Input Method and TouchFlo 3D navigation are there is HTC Touch2.
• Indeed, both of these devices sport MicroSD memory card slot option but the expandable memory of HTC Touch2 has not described while the Nokia N900 offers 16 GB. Internal memory provided by the former one is 256 MB RAM and 512 MB ROM whereas the latter one provides 32 GB storage space and 256 MB RAM.
