Nokia 6600i Slide is an astonishingly designed handset with dimensions 93 x 45 x 14.2mm and weighs only 110g. The Nokia 6600i Slide comes with good OVI integration and offers a very comfortable user interface. The 2.2” display screen supports a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels and up to 16 million colors and beneath the screen is a D-pad offering soft keys. D-pad directions have default settings as new message on left and calendar on right. User can set the shortcuts as per his desire and can even choose the color of the font for main display. The double strike on the surface can help people to know the current time, missed calls and can even silent down the incoming calls.
Phonebook
Storing 2000 contacts might seem complicated, but with Nokia 6600i Slide, this job is extremely easy. Three modes can be chosen to see the phone book list, that is, name & image, standard name & list and name & number. For each contact users can save upto five phone numbers and can even assign separate ringtone to all the contacts. Along with this, people can also choose to designate a picture or video to the contact that runs while call is incoming. Users can take advantage by adjusting the font in the phonebook and can use call filters or grouping options for better convenience.
Messaging
SMS, MMS, mails, audio messages, flash messages and many more, Nokia 6600i Slide supports different types of messages. Converting SMS to MMs is not difficult, as it just requires inserting multimedia content to it and using editor which is used commonly for both. A T9 dictionary is also made available in the handset for facilitating users.
The internal memory of 20MB and micro SD memory card slot of 16GB provides ample of space for storing messages, video files, audio files and lots more. Audio message facility is also provided in this gadget, but it requires a separate editor for using sound clips or to record a message.
