
LG KP500 is the cookie mobile phone and Samsung M8800 is also called the Samsung Pixon mobile phone. The second handset is the winner with its amazing camera and extra features.
A TFT touch screen that supports a 256K-colour display and a 240 x 400 pixels resolution and a screen size of around 3.0 inches is common to both the handsets. While Samsung M8800 comes with an accelerometer sensor, LG KP500 has a flash user interface and pre-loaded handwriting recognition software. Both support polyphonic ring tones in the MP3 format, though in LG KP500, nearly 64 channels are accessed.

You might be wondering how Samsung M8800 is the better mobile phone, but wait till we get to the camera configuration. LG KP500 has a 3.15 MP camera with a resolution of 2048×1536 pixels and video. The latter has an awesome and solid 8 MP lens and a resolution of 3264×2448 pixels. It also comes with auto focus, video (WVGA@30fps, QVGA@120fps), flash and a secondary video call camera. It comes fully loaded with even more heavy-duty and mind-blowing features like camera geo-tagging, auto-panorama shot, face, smile and blink detection and advanced shake reduction.
LG KP500 has an MP3/WMA/AAC player and an MPEG4/3gp video player. The other comes with a DivX/XviD/H.263/H.264/WMV/MP4 player and an MP3/eAAC+/WMA/AMR player. Furthermore, there is the SRS (Surround Sound System) Virtual 5.1CH for a great user experience.
The talk time is almost the same with about three and a half hours of talk time available on both. Samsung M8800 has a TV out functionality that is not available in the other handset. 48 MB internal memory is present in the former while the latter has a good 200 MB of internal memory.
