LG GW620 and Motorola DEXT MB220 are the 3G enabled smartphones designed by well known manufacturing companies namely LG & Motorola. These are slide opening gadgets and have been furnished with high-end features.

Let’s find out the similarities and differences between the handsets.

Motorola Dext

i)The touchscreen displays of both of the phones are little bit similar as the former one is having 3 inches TFT screen while the latter one features 3.1 inches. Both these provide 256,000 colors at the resolution of 320 x 480 pixels.
ii)Full QWERTY keyboard & Accelerometer sensor for auto-rotate are common attributes of these while the S-Class UI is an exclusive of LG GW620 and Motorola DEXT MB220 is furnished with proximity sensor for auto turn-off and MOTOBLUR UI with Live Widgets.
iii)First one is having 109 x 54.5 x 15.9 mm casing dimensions and weighs 139 grams comparatively second one is heavy with 163 grams weight with 114 x 58 x 15.6 mm physical measurements.
iv)Internet can be accessed on LG GW620 by using WAP 2.0, X-HTML and HTML browsers and its competitor has HTML browser with Android Webkit and also it is YouTube compatible.
v)Both of the competitors are devised with music player and video player. MP3, WAV, eAAC+, WMA audio files and MP4, DviX, WMV, H.263, H.264 video files are compatible through LG GW620 and MP3, WAV, MIDI, AAC, AAC+, AAC+ Enhanced & AMR NB audio files and MPEG4, H264, H263 & YouTube video files can be played on Motorola Dext MB220.
vi)The camera is similar 5 megapixel in both of these rivals and Auto Focus and Geo-Tagging are commonly supported features. But the camera of former one provides LED flash, face detection, image stabilizer etc. while the latter one’s camera has digital zoom, picture editing, video streaming and so on.
vii)Document viewer, Data transferring and connectivity technologies are also somewhat similar in both of the contenders as provide 3G HSDPA (HSUPA in former one), WiFi, GPRS, Micro USB, Bluetooth® A2DP (v2.0 in case of former & v2.1 with A2DP in latter one) & EDGE (Class 10 in former one & class 12 in latter one).
viii)Motorola DEXT is much more capable of storing data as its 1 GB memory is expandable up to 32GB and also having 256MB RAM, 512MB ROM and 2GB included but LG GW620 comes packed with 150 MB onboard memory and you can enhance it up to 32 GB.
