HTC Snap and HTC Tattoo are the two newest HTC mobile phones and they are truly mind blowing. The first one is an awesome QWERTY keypad phone whereas the second one is an alluring touch sensitive gadget.
The new HTC Snap, as mentioned earlier carries a well spaced out QWERTY keypad and the overall dimensions are 116.5 x 61.5 x 12 mm and it is of 120 grams. On the other hand, the HTC Tattoo’s dimensions are 10.6cm tall by 5.52cm wide by slim by 1.4cm deep casing. This one is of lightweight comparatively as it comes of 113 grams only.
The TFT resistive touch screen of this gadget is of 2.8 inches that allows its users to enjoy up to 65,000 colors at 240 x 320 pixels resolution. The sense user interface and accelerometer sensor for auto rotate are the special features of this gizmo. On the contrary the first one comes with 2.4 inches TFT LCD screen with LED Back Light attribute that assures 65K colors at 320 x 240 pixels resolution.

In camera, the HTC Tattoo is a winner as it will beat its brother’s 2 MP camera with its 3.2 MP camera. WMV, ASF, MP4, 3GP, AVI, 3G2 & M4V video files are acceptable on the former one while the latter one’s video player supports MPEG4, H263, H264 & Windows Media 9 video files. The HTC Snap’s music player is truly amazing as it can play a hell lot of music file formats including MP3, WMA, MIDI, WAV, AAC, AAC+, eAAC+, AMR, QCP & AWB. While the HTC Tattoo supports MP3, eAAC+, WAV, WMA9 music files.
Both these brothers are equally compatible for data sharing and connectivity as both of them come with several high end technologies like 3G HSDPA, HSUPA, WLAN Wi-Fi, Bluetooth with v2.0 with A2DP, USB, GPRS and EDGE for this purpose. When it comes to browsing technologies, the HTC Snap has to be more trusted one as it has been able to bag WAP 2.0, X-HTML and HTML (PocketIE) web browsers while its vying sibling is loaded with HTML browser only.
