Alcatel OT303 – What Else you Want from Low budget Handset?

As low-budget mobile phones are preferred by the college going students or youngsters so keeping in mind Alcatel has recently released few affordable phones and Alcatel OT303 is one among them.

This affordable phone was released last year in titanium grey, cherry red & turquoise colors so choice is yours. Measuring 107 x 46 x 12.1 mm this phone seems like feather in weight as it is only 66 grams heavy. Alcatel OT-303 is embedded with 2 megabytes memory for allowing the users to save 800 entries in phonebook. But unfortunately you can’t store data as 2MB memory is not sufficient and also there is no card slot to enhance it further.

Though Alcatel OT-303 doesn’t have music player and video player but it has got FM radio with RDS function and two games installed in it so you can make most of your spare time by listening to music or playing games o your phone.

The VGA camera available in this low-priced gizmo can allow you to click pictures at up to the resolution of 640×480 pixels but you will not be able to record videos by using it. If well charged, the standard Li-Ion 650 mAh battery can work continuously up to 9 hours on talk mode and the handset can be kept on standby mode up to 300 hours. Apart from making calls, text messaging and multimedia messaging are the sources of communication available in Alcatel OT-303. And if we talk about the call log feature, it is able to keep record of 20 dialed, 20 received and 20 missed calls of users.

Alcatel OT-303 has a well known speakerphone feature that is very convenient for the users and when it comes to connectivity, the gadget is having GPRS Class 10 (4+1/3+2 slots), 32 – 48 kbps and miniUSB, v1.1. In addition to that, alert types (Vibration, Polyphonic (64) ringtones), T9 dictionary and Organizer are also added in Alcatel OT-303 to make it a complete device.
